Had another low sugar episode this morning. It was really busy at work today and I was on my feet a lot. Maybe my weight has dropped just enough now that I can start lowering my meds. I didn't take my morning insulin shot this morning. Fasting glucose was 103 this morning and since I don't eat breakfast, I only took my metformin pill. So I was surprised when I started feeling the shakes coming on about 11:15 am.
Hubby took me out to Ryan's steak house tonight. I passed up those beautiful looking rolls. We had our niece with us tonight so we even allowed them to put them on the table for her, and I didn't even look at or smell them..LOL (Yeah me!) The steak was really good. The polish sausage was really salty tasting (good, but salty) So I will probably be up a few pounds tomorrow. No big deal, I have learned by watching the scales everyday not to worry about the fluctuation of it.
I haven't been sleeping very well this week. I keep waking up around 2 or 3am and not able to go back to sleep. I feel really drained tonight. Being tired triggers wanting to eat for me. So I have been really hungry the last few days. So I'm hoping to catch up a bit this weekend.
Have a great weekend everyone!

I've been having some hypotensive/dizzy moments lately also - and I think it's because my weight is dropping and my meds need to be adjusted. It's such a delicate balance, isn't it?

Good job on not being tempted by the rolls. Each time we resist makes it easier the next time.

Keep up the great work!

Yes, it is a delicate balance. It's a battle I'm constantly fighting. It's so much more than food also. My glucose levels go up if I'm stressed, sick or fighting an infection etc. I use to think that things like that did not affect it and it was only food related. Last year when my Mom was fighting cancer, the last few weeks my glucose sky rocketed, nothing I could do or the doctors could do to bring it under control.
I think just looking at those rolls must have affected my glucose, this morning it was too high. LOL I also woke with a stuffy nose, so I hope I'm not getting whats been going around.
Thanks for posting to my blog syblilxediving. Hope to see you around more. :)

Yes! The commentary has returned! :)

I give you props for resisting those evil rolls too. Not an easy thing to do.

I hope your blood sugar levels out very soon.

I'll be back!
