Well last night turned out wonderful. It was very romantic. There was candles on every table, I had Hubby by my side, family, good friends, good food, good music. Who could have asked for anything more? I just love when it happens that way. My brother called me on Wednesday and said 'hey lets see how many we can get to come Saturday, the more the merrier'. We started calling people and ended up with 18 of us last night. Pretty good turn out for such a short notice and ON Valentines Day.

I just been messing around today nursing my cold. I made Hubby a Low Carb Chocolate cheese cake today. I posted the recipe, but I will be tweaking it. He like it and even took some to work with him. My son wanted meatloaf and I wanted some potato casserole. Sooooo I made a Squash Casserole instead, I didn't like it, but Hubby and son assured me it was my taste buds that were off from this cold and not the recipe. So I won't post that recipe now, maybe later.

I'm happy that y'all had a wonderful V-Day. :) Sounded like a lovely evening.

The cheesecake sounds yummy. Let us know what you think about it once your cold gets better. If the cake lasts that long! :)

Glad you had a swell time Saturday. Sounds like it was soooo fun and that your brother is a hoot!

Sorry to hear about your cold. That's a bummer and I also vote that your taster is probably off because of it. The squash casserole sounds good in theory! ;)

Hope you feel better soon!!! :hugs: and hang in there honey!
