Tip of the day:
Negative thoughts lead to negative behavior.

I've been doing lots of work on my negative thoughts lately. Meditating on it, praying about it. Is it working? I'm sure of it. I feel better. A LOT better as a matter of fact. My New Years Resolution this year wasn't to lose weight. That sounds funny coming from someone with a Low Carb Menu Blog huh? Well, it is all linked together. My resolution this year was to work on my mental attitude. Negative thoughts lead to negative behavior. So, the flip side of that would be Positive thoughts lead to Positive behavior.

I truly believe we are in control of our own destination. I also believe that everything that happens in our lives, happens for a reason. Sounds contradicting doesn't it? We may be in control of our own destinations but, we can't be in control the things that happen around us. How we choose to handle the things in life, sets our destination. Is your destination going to be a positive place or a negative place? I want mine to be a positive one. Don't you?

Remember:
"Whether you think you can...or you think you can't, either way, you are right." ~Henry Ford

I Can!!!!!!!!!

Well put, NewVision.

I believe in the power of positive thinking too. I commend you for taking aim at your negative thoughts and willing a change! Good for you!

I also believe in being accountable for our positive disposition. One of my favorite quotes is by a mentor of mine. He says this:

"Not only do we have a right to be happy, we have an obligation to be happy - because our happiness has an effect on everyone around us."

I strive and struggle with that one, every day.
